“For in Him we live, and move, and have our being” ~Acts 17:28

Christ-Centered Movement is a yoga therapy practice, inspired by Christ. It serves as a way to connect with the message of Christ through the body, mind and spirit.  A way of coming into communion with the presence of the Holy Spirit in daily life, even through events that are mundane and challenging.

Let’s take an inner journey into the loving message of Jesus Christ.

In Matthew 22:37, Jesus said, there are two commandments upon which all others hinge:

Love the Lord your God with all your heart, and with all your soul and with all your mind.

  1. Love the Lord your God with all your heart, and with all your soul and with all your mind.

  2. Love your neighbor as yourself.

In this workshop together, we will:

  • Explore a trinitarian (Father, Son & Holy Spirit) approach to the body.

    • Meditation

    • Contemplation

    • Action/Movement

  • Incorporate these three aspects - movement, contemplation and meditation.

  • Learn about the practice of Lectio Divina - “divine reading” a prayer practice of listening to scripture with the ear of the heart. A way of dialogue with God

  • Daily rituals to clear your body and space in preparation for prayer and meditation.

  • Learn about various meditation practices including centering prayer and mantra meditation.

This workshop is intended for anyone interested in learning more about embodying the love Christ taught, whether Christian or non-Christian.
