what is an end of life doula?
An End of Life Doula brings heart and compassion into the care of the dying by offering support, options, education, and reassurance to the individual who is dying and/or the family.
Having an End of Life Doula at your side, whether in the background as a guide and reference point for the family, or more deeply involved with the individual dying, can make a significant positive difference for all involved.

The essentials
This package includes:
Non-medical, non-judgemental whole person/family care
Reinforcement of the medical care plan prepared by hospice
Emotional and practical support provided with compassion
A sharing of end of life knowledge base
Respite care
Session Length and Frequency: Sessions are 2-hour minimum, 5-hour maximum based on availability, and usually occur once/week
Rate: $75/hour
EOL Doula plus
Package includes:
Everything in the Essentials Package plus additional services depending on need, including:
Reiki
Restorative yoga
Yoga nidra
A life review
Joint mobility
Breath practices
Development of a therapeutic care plan
